As a UX Researcher, I emphasize creating strategic value through generative and evaluative research. I use a storytelling approach to showcase the business value in customer needs–if there's one piece of feedback I always get, it's that I can tell a great story about the data to get everybody excited.

Before I became a UX researcher, I was already a PhD researcher in the social and behavioral sciences, with seven years of experience in graduate level qualitative research. I was also an adjunct professor in English and Gender Studies.

I thrive when presented with new challenges, whether working or playing. Outside of the office, I can be found tackling rock climbing challenges or experimenting in the kitchen.
